AYC Racing

On Saturday June 9th we ran the Viti rocks race. There were only a few boats out probably because the weatherman said it would rain buckets and the wind would be blowing hard.  As it turned out the weather was warm, sunny and light to medium wind almost all day! We had a downwind start at the refinery dock and had spotty wind until after Huckleberry when it became somewhat more consistent.  We carried the chute until just before the mark rounding, which we were to round just behind Big Broderna and just ahead of Off Constantly.  The wind was fairly consistent until just before Huckleberry where Jeff caught up with us.  So although Jeff finished ahead of us my crew did beat Off Constantly!
